3/5/21
two easy, one hard
creating curriculum at advanced level
supplement rather than replace
taking a broad approach to CS
introductory level
introductory sequence at barnard ??
two options
other option:
we create an staff an intro sequence
then students go into the core
we would have to really agree with columbia
taught by barnard faculty
columbia might view this as a criticism
if we don't do it better, then we have made it worse
columbia is a choice-place to work
not that many people interested in teaching at the intro level
upper level classes do count towards the major
we might create a new track: liberal arts approach to computing
introductory class that goes towards the CS major
setting up a student advisory board
group of students as a means of involvement
working on making our instagram + social platforms more of a thing?
working on how we can market barnard CS and encourage highschoolers to apply to study CS at barnard
kode with klossy x barnard?
i want to be connected with barnard CS majors
CITI training
