I’m working on a project for this upcoming International Pi Day, March 14th 2022, and I’d be honored to feature you in it! Every year on Pi Day, I post a video of myself reciting the first 100 digits of Pi (something I’ve happened to have memorized since I was 12 years old). This year, I’m changing it up and putting together a video featuring 100 different women and non-binary people in STEM, each reciting one of the first 100 digits of Pi. My name is Izzy Lapidus and I’m a sophomore at Barnard College passionate about making the STEM community a more inclusive place for women and non-binary people. At Barnard, I’m studying Computing, Design, and Pedagogy (a special major I created myself) and I aspire to re-imagine computer science education.

I’m working on a project for this upcoming International Pi Day, March 14th, 2022, and I’d love to invite you to be a part of it! Every year on Pi Day, I post a video of myself reciting the first 100 digits of Pi, something I’ve had memorized since I was 12 years old. This year, I’m taking things up a notch with the launch of my new project: 100DIGITS, a video and online-database featuring 100 women and non-binary Icons in STEM. The video will showcase each Icon reciting one of the first 100 digits of Pi, ending in a call-to-action to the online-database (DIGITS, or Database of Icons: Groundbreaking, Innovating, and Thriving in STEM) where people will be able to learn more about each of the Icons and their accomplishments.
