LEARNING REFLECTION:
1. What did you know about this week’s topics before this week?
- No class
- Chill time? Work on semester project time?
- Getting Started with Javascript
- Javascript is what adds functionality to your webpage. It makes websites interactive and fun.
2. Comparing what you know now to what you knew before, name at least two
important things that you learned this week.
- Jquery is an open-source JavaScript library that makes JavaScript in general and specifically the DOM tree a lot easier
- DOM stands for Document Object Model
- You need to link you JS pages in your HTML head for them to work
3. How can you apply what you learned to your Semester Project or beyond? Put
differently, what rule(s) can you create for yourself so that you can benefit from
this knowledge later?
- Make sure to continue freshening up on JS so that our project can be as interactive, dynamic, and cool as possible!
4. Describe what you know about next week’s topics in a sentence or two.
- Studio Discussion 3
- Another chance to work on our projects in live time and receive extra teaching support
- Getting Started with Flask
- I have no idea what Flask is!!!! I’ve heard the name, but at this point I know nothing about it
