LEARNING REFLECTION:
1. What did you know about this week’s topics before this week?
- No class Monday
- Getting Started with React
- React is good for front-end web dev stuff.
2. Comparing what you know now to what you knew before, name at least two important things that you learned this week.
- React makes Javascript SO much easier
- React is definitely the way to have the nicest, easiest to work with, clean cut code for web development
3. How can you apply what you learned to your Semester Project or beyond? Put differently, what rule(s) can you create for yourself so that you can benefit from this knowledge later?
- Use React! Even though learning a new language can be unfamiliar, it’s a good investment because it’s such a useful language
4. Describe what you know about next week’s topics in a sentence or two.
- Studio Discussion 3
- More time to work on project in class and get support from teaching staff!
- UNIT 5! Principles of Interaction: Fundamental Principles of Interaction
- I don’t know much at all other than the fact that interaction is a super key element of interface design. We have to think about how our users will interact with what we’re creating.
ACCOUNTABILITY QUESTIONS:
1. What tasks did you give yourself in last week’s answer to Accountability Question #4?
- Task 1: Think deeply about which assignments actually need to happen first and get those done before dealing with other assignments | Complete
- Task 2: Stay on Do Not Disturb, don’t go on my computer for no reason, doodle on my iPad if I need to fidget. | In Progress
- Task 3: Watch Netflix and lay in my bed | Complete
2. Did you complete them?
- Task 1: Indeed. I’ve been good about this!
