I enjoy writing. I like to write for my own purposes. I like to write in my voice. I like to write from my heart. I like to write.

I didn't always like to write. Sometimes I do not like to write. I do not like to write when I feel like it is possible for me to not write to the best of my ability.

I want to get better at academic writing. I also want to do more of my own writing. I want to write in life. I want that to be a part of what I do but I want it to be on my terms.

I don't think that I am meant to work for other people. I am born to work for myself. I want to work for myself but with other people. I want to get better at being a member of the community rather than the leader.

I have a lot of interesting things to write and talk about. Here are all the topics I could imagine myself writing about:

• STEM
• the STEM community
• science communication

It doens't work to do this. It is the intricacies and intersections of each of these topics that interest me. Language, storytelling, perfomance... those are all in there.
