- check in with family/friends
- practice hobbies/fun activities (yes, even when you are stressed!)
- Check your "internal tape" and only use positive self-talk: "I am a capable student, and yes, I can complete this project/assignment!"
- Develop a relationship with a Therapist for emotional support

- Prayer/meditation/quiet time

- Go for a walk/run, do at-home HIIT or yoga workouts, borrow someone's dog/child and go to the park, etc

Setting the Stage for Productivity
- Create comfortable space
- Keep sleeping/study spaces sacred
- Be attentive to light, temperature, physical comfort
- Consider a natural light lamp
- Be attentive to background noise: noise-cancelling headphones, simplynoise.com (simply rain)
- Adopt a plant/fish (or both—"aquaponics") and name it after your favorite activist, scholar, or inspirational leader
